I saw in some web site that cloth color during angling at mountain river should be green and brown as one of essential point. Is it ture? If its true, what is reason? for hiding from animal? Does someone have idea about it?

Sorry it looks like silly question but I want to clarify wherever I have doubt.

It's a sort of camouflage. As the water in the mountain streams is very clear and not too deep, fish can easily spot you on the bank. So it is better to blend in with the environment.

Another trick or tip is to walk down stream and keep casting out. Most fish position themselves to look into the flow so that they can grab food as it flows past. Also this is the most energy efficient position.

I follow a simple rule... if you can see the fish, the fish can see you... if you can't see the fish, the fish can still see you!!!

Don't know much about green and brown, but surely would not suggest highly contrasting colours... blend in with the background types...
