I'm Sreejith Kumar working in Bangalore currently but a native from Kerala and did my schooling from Delhi. My fascination towards angling got kindled during my childhood trips to Kerala, where my cousins used to tag me and my brother along during their fishing trips. I still remember the excitement that me & my brother shared when we caught our first fish
It's been a long time since experiencing that first tight line but the excitement is still the same.
My fishing adventures have been limited in last 10yrs but now I have made up my mind to pick up the rod and not to wait till I reach Kerala. I was pleasantly surprised when I came across this site few weeks back and was blown away reading the experiences and looking at the pictures posted by fellow IA members. I just have one word for you guys.. Respect.! I have never done angling before with modern rods, reels & lures and my experiences has been limited to bamboo sticks and nylon threads. I must say the information shared in this site is all quality but somehow I feel overwhelmed as I find myself lost with various terms and fishing techniques that I'm finding hard to comprehend. Thus, I will post my queries in another section, I look forward to you guys to help me and I'm sure with your expert guidance I will soon pick the art of angling and could join you guys on your trips.
