Hello Friends,

Finally the day arrived for me to land something on a LURE.

Tried my luck for past couple of months to land those biggies and nothing even licked my lures.
Today decided to catch some small fishes and landed at Freds backyard.

Spun for an hour and no luck.

Then went to the end and bang a strong pull on the line and I knew there was a fish on line. It gave a strong run towards the flow of water but was of no use with me on a 15lb mono and a killer reel from Daiwa.

Landed it within seconds. Walla a Mangrove Jack as expected.
Now I know why it is from a Snapper family it targets the head of the fish and bang runs for cower.

So finally my account opened on lure.

Thanks Raj, that place has got very popular now, when I showed people that place I had done so to only a selected few with a promise that all fish (except large Rock Cod - optional). Were to be released back.

Glad to note that catch and release is being followed, please do not even give the fish to anyone who asks, you will get a lot of persons asking for fish.

My house is just a couple of minutes up the road from the cross. I learnt my fishing there. That was before the path was built.
