Congratulations on your catch.

Did you take any pics of the 3kg Trevally ? All the pics were of the smaller 1kg fish.

For those who cannot see the images; Copy from 'http: ---> .jpg' and paste in the browser.

Hi

Pictures are clear friends. almost the size varies from 2 to 3 kgs. i did spare time for taking picture because the strike of Gt was sp frequent , so i don't want to loose them by spending time for taking picture.

How deep is the water? Lure in your pic looks like a 5 MT DD Tilsan big barra?, try surface lures next time for GT's.

Hi Santosh,

It is bit difficult to find. But i guess i will be around 20 to 25 feet. Yes, you are right 5 MT DD Tilsan Big Barra only. My friend were using Halco Popper and Laser pro. But they didn't get the strike. i was one using Tilsan Big barra able to catch the GT. Actually that place is famous for Barramundi fish, that why i was using that lure. so for I was not successes in catching barramundi using lure. I don't know what mistake i am making?. I just want to know how to retrieve the lure for Barramundi. If you know please help me. People use to catch barramundi using live prawn. Is that reason why we are not able to catch the barramundi using lure.

secondly can any one help us how to catch Katla and Rohu fish.

Hi jbasamie,

The water looks nice and clear in the pic. Tilsan big barra is an excellent lure for barramundi, try red head, slow retrieve. Get the tides right & keep trying.

Good luck,

Santosh
