My hands were itching for some Fishing , and there i go as always without any plans left to Goa day before yesterday at around 11:30pm from Belgaum i reached Goa at 3am and gave a surprise to my friend Keith. Well it started of with a bad day yesterday with one mogan MJ (guess), who screamed the Reel and went into the rocks:cry: and after that not a single strike , tried lures , bait... damn not a single strike, we then packed and headed back home :( , but the night was still young, we planned for Karaoke night at St Antony's  , lovely music , food..... :P .
The next day started of at 7 in the morning with the tide just perfect , and our favorite spot , the same place where the Biggggg Grouper Snapped
:( . The results were these beautiful fish, little ones but was fun!!

Good on you mate! size doesn't matter! The fish are beautiful! the last one with the black spot is one guy I have ended up seeing in some size every time I've gone fishing by the sea, brought back some memories. Thanks for sharing the pics!

Regards,

Congrats! Beautiful fishes.
The black fish looks like a croaker from its head and lips.

Identity Crisis

Terapon (4-6 banded)

Blubber Lip Snapper (Lutjanus rivulatus)

Black Spot Snapper

??? Looks like more of a grouper (warsaw grouper) considering the fact the fish has a rounded caudal fin and the structure of the eyes and mouth is similar to groupers.

Bar the colour, I would have said Croaker AKA Dhoma. I can say this much, it is not from the Grouper family. Need to go through the books for this one.
