anyone know any good spots around chennai. like kovalam and other areas.
especially river mouths and mangroves. would like to know places that have proven successful

Way back in early 1990's Ports Authority issued angling permits to fish inside the Madras Harbour. I used to hold one of those permits, then. I wonder wther they still issue these permits. Believe me, Madras Harbour is the place to catch big fish.
I have even caught a King Mackeral, 13 kgs, spinning.
