Aww :o ,

I had the same kit, was really handy. I carried it everywhere esp. the line clipper, hooksharpener and pliers till they got whacked on a trip. Still have the pliers and they're pretty useful.

Mighty Marlin.

Dear Rustam,

I thought you had received the sms. Anyway, I had sent the stuff by DTDC. They will ship it tomorrow and the same will reach tomorrow evening. So they might deliver the stuff the day after tomorrow.

The receipt no. is K18490338 Dt. 08.08.06.
Weight 400 gms

Actually cabelas had sent me two sets instead of one. So I am selling one set as there is no use keeping two sets.

With regards,
Apoo

Apoo,

Never put your bank account number on the net. Please delete it. I have noted down the details.

Bops delete the account numbers in case you see them before Apoo.

Thanks.

Rustam

Hi Rustam,

I never gave a thought that bank account details should not be shown to all.

I have deleted it now.

I wont do it again.

Hi Apoo,

By personal message I meant the PM option given below each users post. For example under Rustam's post there is a button which says PM on it. Click on it and type out your message to Rustam. Make sure you also specify a subject. Then send it to him. The next time he logs into the forum he will see it. The message can be seen only by him.

Have fun.

Bops

Apoo,

How did you get my e-mail address? It's not listed on IA. Just curious.

As for the bank transfer, I do not have an account in either ICICI or HDFC. I am going to get a Demand Draft from a nearby ATM and courier it to you. So, please let me have your complete residential or office postal address by 4 p.m. today via e-mail or PM. Going into the city at office hours is a headache I prefer to avoid if possible.

My e-mail address is rustambana@satyam.net.in

Thanks.

Rustam

Dear Rustam,

You do me a favour. I had typed some words for the Rapala Kit, but again I am writing as the forum had asked my username and the password again and the topic was erased. So I will type it in a short message.

Keep the kit. Considered it sold and the payment made. It is a friendly gesture form a distant friend.

Apoo,

The gesture is much appreciated but I cannot accept it gratis.

Don't misunderstand but that's the way it is with me.

Keep well.

PM or e-mail please. Putting addresses on the net is another no-no.

Thanks.

Nice one, Bops. Please make the transfer to Apoo. Will PM the account details.

Already sealed the envelope but this will be much faster for all concerned.

Send you a cheque or drop in at your place with cash?

Thanks.

Hi Rusty,

It didn't mention whether the account was a Savings Acc or a Current Acc. Also for Inter Bank Transfers the MICR code of the beneficiary is required.

All these assamese are nuts!
One guy drove 30k to get me my brand of ciggies at 9pm!
Day1-They thought i was also a FOREIGNER( one of my fellow instructors was from US) and insisted on serving me special continental food when I was just dying to try out the fish in mustard paste, dal and rice-I actually had to eat some green chillies to convince them that i am a NON FUSSY sort of indian and love the food-that was a big mistake, cause I had a dozen dinner invites in 3 min.
Put on 2 kg in 4 days..Watch out for these guys, they'll kill you with their hospitality.Last day, I was trying to source some manipuri 'world's hottest chillies', called umrok, I got about half a kilo gratis-should last me 2-3 yrs at my rate of consumption...
All I'm waiting for is my next trip , want to try out fishing in Brahmaputra...wonder if they'll let me stop?
like I said-crazy!
Best
Axx

Hi Apoo & Rustam,

The payment has been made to Apoo's HDFC account and should be effective in a day or two.
