A lot of the fish caught at Bandstand tend to grow after they are landed. Especially ones caught by guys who live in Chimbai

Hi Freddy,

Yes it's me, how many Bobbys do you know from Bandra who fish??

Nice cobia mate, I have caugth cobia off Bandra and the do put on a good fight. I landed mine on 50lb tackle so the contest was more onesided.

Just like the fish looks like you have grown too, wider that is :P, same here.

When I am back I fish all around the place, very seldom at Bandstand

Im off to Dubai tomorrow, sisters daughter passed away

Regards,

Bobby

Freddy,

Must say I am impressed you recognised the rod from that picture mate.

Are rods still precious back home in Bombay?

About 10 years ago I had 200 or so, 10' - 2 pce rods made to order for some Masheer guys up north and to use in our conditions.

I handed these rods to a friend of mine in India, they are all sold out by now. But they were pretty nice albiet heavy compared to the spinning stuff I have now.

Hey guys - This is Gary posting from Stittsville - Canada (near Ottawa) and yes - the 'S' is silent.

I am Freddie's neighbour in Chimbai... and taught Freddie everything he knows about fishing!

Actually - I envy him now... especially as the temp dips belo zero.

Looking to go back on my annual pilgrimage to Durg... where we caught the Cobia last year - except It seems to have put on wt after being caught... maybe Fred is adding the blood loss to his count!

Cheers - folks - and lookin' to post some of my Bass and Walleye pictures soon.

Hi Gary,

Fancy you should say that, above is a quote I had made in this very string somewhere at the top.

And that you claim to have taught Freddy "EVERYTHING" he knows about fishing  what kind of diet do you put fish on once it has been landed?

Welcome to the forum mate...
