Youre kidding us rite ? I agree with Bobster ... the only time i met him was to buy some spoons from him na dboy did i get more than what i asked for ... 60 minutes of non stop nonsense before he even brought out the lures ..... had to take a look at all his tackle before i could get a lure outta him ..

Sack full of salt or not he tells some good yarns! Did he tell you guys about the bait fish that was being chased down a fast flowing canal by a big fish that when it jumped out the water the BIG fish caught it and the splash the predator made was enough to wet the on-lookers standing on the banks on each side of the canal ! !!!!
If it is the same Ivan we speak of his sister's name is Rita and was an Air hostess with Air India many moons ago.HEllo Ivan Cheers ,
Glenn

This is the Bash Ivan thread..

I heard a few of those yarns...that I could tolerate, even enjoy. What got my beef was he did not like it if any one knew more than him. And soon there were many who did..

But I liked his spoons, straighten out a bit what he used to call "Daley" and it worked even better..

Ivan spoons where all very sucessful
dexter, januscon, ripple plug, worked very well on all species especially Dexter on slow retreive for Barra, plug was good for month of may casting into the wind, but well we did well too with, paint brush handles, rollin pins, file handles, the days when every rupee was saved to buy a new reel or rod,but ya it was fun experimenting.I still use my skills to catch fish offshore using paint brush handles trolled from out zodiac dive boats to catch Kingfish in Zakum field of Abu Dhabi,
