Kudos to whoever started this site, it's awesome. I saw a sticker on a car and decided to check out the site. I'm glad I did.

I live in Bangalore and have just finished college. I've been fishing since childhood and enjoy camping as well. I hope to learn more about angling from all of U.

Hi Gavin, hope my profile pic answers your question. I had a look at the image gallery and it's amazing how many pro anglers we have in India. Are there any angling clubs in Bangalore?

Maya, I suggest you join WASI who have their office in Victoria Layout.

We are working on organising fishing at Lalbagh lake but this may take some time. I will send you the address of WASI by PM.

Welcome Maya! Tell you what --- you have started a stampede among these red blooded males on the forum, to say the least. I have never seen such a huge flurry of activity on the introduction site ever before! You have them all falling over each other and tripping over themselves for the privelege to help a damsel in distress!! Suggest you have some capsicum spray handy on your next fishing trip!!
Hope you enjoy yourself and catch many fish. It is really good to see another lady angler step into a predominantly male activity!
Happy fishing days!
Glenn.

Hi Maya, dont let these guys frighten you. Why do you have to worry about fishing gear, I always have spares, as my grnadsons, dont accompany me, always. You could always use my spare gear. Sorry Gavin you are too far away and better stay that way, till Maya gets use to we guys at Bangy.. What say OMO. I dont want comments from these Bongs, anyways. Welcome to the tightliners and the crazy nut house. Bobbee.

Some suggestions. Close this thread Bops please...
Maya start a new site. You could call it Mayaanglers.com. It could be your ticket to the rich and famous. Charge money for membership... to log on... to post a reply....and to just be a casual reader...

cheers

PS : In reality I actually look forward to reading this thread....as the say the chase is more thrilling.

Thanks Bobby, Yes when i get back ill machine these new designs and put there images on this site,i am also working on a DIY procedure for beginners/pro to make there own plugs, nothin more fulfilling then catching fish on your home made lures.Elliot from Dadar used to swear by door /flush handles for spoons.

Neil,

I have several home made plugs and spoons, yes, I do have the old door handles and they work, I had one spoon that was so convincing, terns used to make a dive to hit it only swerve at the last moment.

I also have several plugs made from Pine...

Bobby
