Hello fellow anglers !
It was nice to know about this forum in India.
Well I am an avid angler too.
I did some angling in Germany and have brought some fishing gear from there.
I would very much like to join an angling trip near to Bangalore.
Do let me know of any planned trips.
Also about any angling shops in Bangalore.

Thanks and happy angling !

Regards,
Diwakar

Hey Axx

Went there on Sun. Saw a nice 1kg magur being pulled out. Heard some story about bigger ones. But the place is a mess. A real garbage dump.

Rohtak sounds great but will have to wait till after the 4th of March. I leave for Singapore on the 24th and have a s*** load of work till then.

Am taking my rod for sure

Guys if you are going anywhere near the Kaveri to fish, please ensure that you have the required permits. Don't get jacked on your first trip.

Got a question for you all, is the Cauveri spelt with a "C" or a "K", I see its spelt both ways on this Forum.

It was spelt Cauvery during the British raj, now Kaveri. Much like Bangalore and Bangaluru.

I think the main criteria is that you have to be an expert at catching tilapia and within the first month you have to catch and take home a minimum of a 1000 buggers !!
