Hi Everyone,

At last i have joined this great forum and would like to say thanks to everyone who have made it what it is.

I am a very keen fisherman and have enjoyed reading some of the topics covered here in past months. i hope i may be able to share some of my tiny pool of knowledge in the future.

Soon i leave on a round the world bicycle trip starting in uk, and heading towards india where i will spent next christmas chasing barramundi amongst other things before heading onwards across asia towards australia. i will be carrying 3 rods and 3reels to cover most species and techniques as well as a wide selection of lures.

i will be keeping people updated on my progress, on my webpage that you can find on my profile so anyone interested can have a peek at what i have caught lately.

Maybe i'll see some of you guys in december for some fishing. Ken L make sure you book your ticket as soon as your present trip is finished!!

Tight lines, Scott

Watchya matey !

Good to see you on IA at last. Big waves in north Goa at the moment (first time I've ever seen surfers riding waves at Arambol) so the fishing is a little tough but I still managed to bag me a 5kg Barra last night.

Not sure what the weather is doing in mainland Europe but I don't envy you the prospect of riding through the kind of snow and ice that's affecting the UK at the moment.

Hope the trip goes well and you've sorted out the right kind of insurance before setting off.
