Although I have been registered for some time, I have not posted yet so thought it time to introduce myself.

I am English, live in America and have fished for Carp for nearly 30 years.
I will be in Bangalore the last week of February and will be at the JLR Bheemeshwari camp for the first weekend in March.
I was there last November for the weekend; lost one and saw a 35lb caught by Vickram which was the largest of the season so far.

There was a german film crew there for 3 weeks I believe - does anyone know how they got on?

Looking forward to another exciting adventure and meeting some of you again :D

Hi John, good to have you on board.
Which part of the States do you live in? Is that where you do the carp fishing?

Hi John!
welcome to the forum.
The Germans you mentioned are Dirk and his friends ( registered as dibu on IA). They had a few fish in the 20's & 30's. Water was still too high, and right now probably too low from the look of at the level further upriver.
By the way, we guys have heard of 2 fish in the 70's and 80's caught at the end of December and the beginning of Jan at Galibori. Hopefully the count has gone up by now.
Bheemeshwari is usually best fished in Nov & Dec, don't want to sound like a damp squib, but march is probably a bad time to be at Bheemeshwari.
Try to get your bookings shifted to Galibori camp if possible, or even delay by a few days but take Galibori in April if it is booked up full in March.
Tight lines
Owen
