Welcome Mayur, yes you have come to the right place to learn all about angling. And we are also happy to learn. So do tell about your angling experiences and the one that got away! where ahve you fishedor angled all these years? and what do you fish for? watch out fog Gavin Ridge. He is that young good looking dude. They tell me he has caught a few mermaids ,but is still waiting for the right one to come along!! Thats right, the one without a tail!

I am sure we have atleast one Sea salt who will point you in the right direction. I have found surf casting to be most satisfying and rewarding. More so the salt air and all that casting gives one a feeling of having accomplished something and the fish, if cauhgt, is a bonus, and sleep comes easy that night! If you are in Chennaitry the Kovalam area. There has been a lot written on the forum about sea fishing in that area, so look up the earlier postings,by Bopana and owen, and a few others. I am sure they will assist you attire with the right gear, bait, spots etc. Ask them.
Cheers, Glenn
