Hi Fellow anglers,
Been an angler for a good many yr, have had the love for the sport ever since I was knee high. Have had the good fortune of catching many fish in the sea (GT's, barracudas, barramundi, Mangrove jacks, Sear, rock cod, Moses perch etc on plugs, bait fishing, running live mullets, trolling) In the rivers/lakes/tanks (Murrel, various carps/cats, Masheers etc on spinners & bait fishing). Have had the pleasure of fishing with Ravi (ravinp) since the late eighties when we then had angling license in the Madras harbor and to this day still do our fishing pilgrimages to the sea (both west/east coasts) and to the river Cauvery. Angling is a science in its self. I'd like to think that 90% of the anglers catch 10% of the fish; whereas 10 % of the knowing anglers catch 90% of the fish. ie. Doing the right thing at the right time, at the right place & using the right bait and that comes by one’s own experience. Needless to say in addition, the persistence angler catches the fish.
Ravinp has posted some of my snaps on this site earlier. I will do so in future.
Happy to be joining this forum.
