hi this is zoheb from goa, and have been fishing for 16 years , last years shifted to lure fishing, just managed to catch few groupers and snappers while trolling but, casting havent realy caught anything last year, just dropped a barra while lifting out of water last year and hoping to catch my first barra this year.

am after barramundi, i lost 1 while lifting last year was around 10kg my braid snapped at last sec after lifting it half way on jetty , and other barra bite was way to close for me hook it it just 4 or 5 meters from my feet and so the lure came out from its mouth :P

wishing you the best of barras...when fihing from the jetty/rocks, use a long leader...it will prevent the line from snapping...
