Welcome to IA. I think most of your spinners are getting lost in the teesta confluence. I have lost good lures and spinners in that confluence. If you ever meet Mr. Fonning or Mr. Ashok Pakhrin in Teesta, ask them how they cast and i think they would definitely help you out.

Welcome to IA mate.
The best way to lessen the burden on your pocket will be to start making your own spoons.
I am sure you will find it very easy to make spoons from Spoons as described by Salim somewhere.
The other precaution will be to start winding the line in as your spinner/ spoon hit the water. In case you are casting in rapids, the current will push your spoon up.
Go through the previous post on this forum and you will surly find some fabulous information.

Haven't fished any rapids so for. But could suggest you to try replacing the trebles with single hooks slightly larger size perhaps 3x stronger.
Cheers - DeZZ
