Hi all.
I have been planning on making a trip to India, to fish the rivers for Mahseer, Goonch, or anything else that fancies picking up my bait!
Its something I've been wishing to do for a while now, but getting the money together has been the stumbling block, though hopefully it will happen early next year. Fingers crossed!
I'm looking to keep budgets to a minimum and trying to avoid expensive package tours, was just going to get a return flight and bring tackle and spending money with me, to sort everything out when I'm there.
I'll have a good look through this forum, but any advice would be greatly appreciated.

As for where I intend to go, got to say I'm not really sure I did have in mind flying to either Delhi or Bangalore, for Corbet or the Cauvery(did I read something about fishing being banned!?), but that's only because they're the places I know. I'm open to try anywhere really.
