Hi folks, I'm making my first trip to Goa, India in January. Hoping to catch some barramundi from the saltwater lagoons next to the hotel I'm staying in, as well as having a go from the beach if the moons right. Currently making a nice pair of travel rods that are capable of handling these fish and stocking up on lures. I'd welcome any tips for catching these fish by livebaiting or deadbaiting also. Regards, Mark

Welcome to the forum mate.

Best of luck for Goa trip. Sub surface lure and softies work best for Barra. (From the shore). Live baiting can also produce good results.

Regards,

Ali.
