Hi Everybody,

I'm Joni from Malaysia. I've been quite actively fishing since the late 80s.
I do river , deep sea and pond fishing especially during off season when the sea is rough.
I've been so fascinated by all the postings and photos on IA forum.
I hope to made a trip to India . Looking forward to teaming up with some of you guys.
Those golden mahseers are my dream fish though we do have similar species in Malaysia.

Teritex, Lionheart & Ravinp. Thanks. Looking forward to meeting and teaming up with you guys . Would love to see more photos of your trips.
They sure are inspiring and keep our spirit high. Teritex, baras are great fighters. Unfortunately they aren't good table fish though.

Sure Joni :-) anytime

the barras from the farms are not that tasty they are full of fat and growth hormones given mixed with feed and the wild free barras are good for table between 4 to 7 kgs above that its like rubber

Lionheart,
100% I agree with you.
Certainly I'll go for the 'wild' barras.
Meat is far more tasty & yummy too
