Hello Everybody,

I have joined this forum a couple of days ago. I am a very keen angler and have been fishing since childhood. I have fished at various places in the North. I am an active member of the Mahseer conservancy and the birding society of India. I have recently caught and released an 18 pounder up the hills (the pictures are in the mahseer forum with the video).

Would be looking forward for all your support and help.

Thanks and Regards

Kunal

Kunal is a naturist???

Sanjay how do you know he is a naturist :) There is no mention on this thread of he being a naturist.

Now if you dont know what I mean go to google and type naturist and click the images option above LOL

Kidding mate.. but naturist means a different clan all together in this world.

Hi,

Let me tell you something about myself... I was born in Chandigarh. Did my schooling and collage from there. My father and my brother were keen anglers. We used to fish in Bhakra and the Pong dam. From there i became inclined towards fishing. I plan a fishing trip once a month and make sure that i have enough photographs to prove it. I am an outdoor person who loves trekking as well. I have climbed a couple of himalayan ranges. I am also fond of wildlife and love animals.

Right know i am working in Bank of America, still i visit either the water or Jim Corbett park often.

Thanks for all the help and support.

Tight lines.

regards

Kunal

Thanks DeZZ
as a obedient boy searched google, and got the opportunity and liked the phrase "Human body is natural and not shameful" .  Thanks buddy. But see my original spelling NATURESIST and not naturist. Thanks again for mentioning that it means a different clan in this world.

but we both would like to go with you for fishing(after seeing many of your amazing posts) this time we will not go to a beach but for a fresh water angling.

Hi Kunal,

welcome to the forum mate. As you are involved in conservation of Mahseer, your views and ideas will be of great interest to all of us. Do also post your fishing adventures as we all love to hear about a good fight. :P

Now look at that. You are such a CHEATER. "NATURESIST" where did you get that from "Urban Dictionary"?? Well I hope we don't come across Naturist out there in India, coz many of us are bound to lose concentration on such things :)

Concentrate of the Fish and not the Fishy Thing ;)

Cheers - DeZZ

Hi All,

My name's Mohit...am new here on the forum...as well as to the idea of fishing/angling :).

Kunal - I am also in BACS...am in Q&P...contact me pls...need some tips.

Now a basic question from :) Seniors :) :
1. I am planning my 1st fishing trip to Naukuchiatal. Am planning to stay at Lake Resort. If anyone of you has been there, pls guide on who to contact for fishing...otherwise I will try my luck with the staff.
2. Also, I do not have any gear with me and am planning to rent it for time being...Need list of things that I should buy as a beginner going forward.
3. What about the fishing permit? Will they be able to provide it at short notice?
4. What are other nearby places to Gurgaon where I can go out with family and do fishing.

Thanks - Mohit Mahajan
