Hi All,

I am really new to fish & fishing....All I know abt them are that there are good fried & the eyes are supposed to contain alot of protein (Grandmom's theories).

I have heard alot of the sport from friends & have also had the opportunity to go on a couple of trips in India & Sydney...Anways, hope to be able to learn much more thru this forum.

Have a great weekend ahead...

Regards,
Alister

Hi Alister,

Welcome to the forum.

Dont know about the Protein in fish eyes, but I used to eat a lot of them when I was little. May be your grandma was right and that is why I am an epitome of vitality at 70.

Gav,

I’ve known this crazy guy for a long time, but I did not know about the volatile mix of genes. Aint you glad the last name is not Mercury or he would sing ol’ Rusty to death.

But come to think about it Devacha or Mercury similar gene pool man..

Another one Bites the Dust,

Bobby

Yes mate, FredFish a good guy...and besides he will not be staring at your rear like FredMercury would. At least you can consentrate on the water, safe in the knowledge that you will not get assaulted with a pole fishing or whatever else comes to your twisted mind

Freddy,

Besides the two Big Game Rods 130 lbs, I will have with me one Penn Intl Wide 50lb and 80 lb reels and about 2 spinning reels and rods and a flying gaff, if customs hassle me I can say my stuff goes back.

Are you willing to risk that?
