don't know the sceientific name for this fish anyway eath worm was used as bait .

Hi Joe,

Where is this pond located? Is it on the way to Cherra? I have seen a few ponds on the way to Cherra and a lot of anglers were fishing there.

No it's not on the way to cherra , this is in Pynursla on the way to Dawki (bangladesh border).

Not very clear but looks like a mirgal (Cirrhinus mrigala) to me.
