Post subject:  Hello to all

from Japan!
My name is Adam, I am from England although I am now living in Tokyo as an expat.
I joined IA in the hope of learning about mahseer angling. Possibly this Autumn, if not then next year, I hope to make the trip to Delhi and from there head north for guided mahseer fishing. IA seems like a goldmine of information and I was gratified to see you have a whole section of the forum devoted to the fish! I have learnt a lot just from reading one or two threads.
I love the nation of India and visited Maharashtra in 2006 (no fishing, sadly) and hope to make it again this time to the north.
I also fished the Sri Lankan coast of the Pacific in 2007.
I run a small blog which details some of my fishing here in Japan.
Cheers,
Adam

Bopanna,
Thanks, and thank you for IndianAngler Forums!

Ali,
Well I will be sure to ask you if/when I end up in Mumbai again! The offshore fishing looks good!

Madhur,
Thank you for the welcome, and glad to hear Bade Miya is doing well. The kebabs were so good, on my last night in the city I bought a bunch to eat on the plane on the way home!

I also very much enjoyed eating the seafood at Trishna and the tandoori at Khyber restaurant. I have so many wonderful memories of Mumbai, I must visit again soon. Next time I will bring my fishing gear!

Hi Adam,

I had been to bagdadi once. It is located just behind the taj. Bade miyan (if i remember properly) is located opposite to the heera panna market. Some restaurants in mumbai sells the best food in the world.

Hi Apoo,
Bade Miya's stall is in the same lane as Baghdadi.. But regarding Haji Ali, I guess you are talkin bout Noorani's which is opposite heera panna.

Regards,
Madhur.

Apoo,
I really ate well when I was in Mumbai. In addition to the places mentioned before, I also very much enjoyed the restaurants Delhi Darbar and Gaylord.
Bhel poori outdoors was good too.

Next time I will be brave and try some of Mumbai's famous paan!
