Not bad Gavin, pretty close. I'm just back from a trip to the river at malvalli. It was nice sitting on the river bank around a fire sipping on some "Thirsty lizard" an excellent wine from Australia. Elephants all around us making low rumbling noises and trumpeting because we had a fire going. I guess they didn't like the smoke :-)

The water was still very muddy and I didn't have a single strike!

Its all about the surroundings, mate !! That's the best part.. Wonderful evening around a camp-fire, sipping on a fantastic drink and them elephants making that rumbling noise in the background... Perfect !!!

Hi MM,

I did try all the plugs I had, including some new ones which I think will work very well for mahseer once the water clears up. The locals tell me that there are now four crocodiles instead of the two that were there earlier. Looks like trouble for the mahseer!

I will post some pics of the trip on another post soon.

Hi Bops,

I guess it should improve as the water clears up. Four crocs instead of two is no problem. I'm sure a healthy population of crocs will ensure a healthy population of fish as well. As long as the crocs stick to fish and not plugs

Regards,
Mighty Marlin.

I regret to inform the geriatric Mickey Mouse that Bops will be handing over ALL modding duties to King Rat during his absence. Said King Rat has a very itchy delete finger where certain mice are concerned.

Suitable bribes may make KR look the other way.

Hi Riaz, welcome to the asylum.

I am confused. You made a post at 9:43 p.m. last night. You were keeping an eye on IA whilst out fishing? Must be a real swanky jungle if it has wireless internet connection. Or was your 'just back' refering to the weekend?

Yours in pedantry.

Rustam
