thanks everyone for the warm welcome, i hope you are all still as nice six months later after i have asked all the stupid questions that fill my head... i love fishing in all its forms tho i did have one nasty bout of seasickness off whitby in england but even baiting my bit of sea with my breakfast i caught more than the rest of the boat, so theres an idea for the sea anglers...be sick... and catch lots...
its an honour to meet you all...doug

Hyderabad? mmm ive never been to that wonderful place... i'm in dindigul, tamil nadu.. i have been here for five months and have four weeks to go... then i will be golfing twice a week and fishing as often as i can... in england we need a licence even to fish for your own fish in your own pond on your own land... i beleive here it is more permits that we need to fish specific places? ...
the river Don in doncaster was at one point the most polluted river in europe... but with the demise of heavy industry in sheffeild the river has been cleaned up and now salmon are reported to be returning... the best fighting coarse fish can be caught right in the center of doncaster... the barbel... there are also bream ,chub, roach, and gudgeon which is a small shoal fish that you can, if you are lucky catch two a minute ... there are also commercial ponds that stock carp up to thirty pounds... you pay about five pounds for a days fishing, and can often put together a large catch... fish pellets are a popular bait ... well i will leave it at that... so... till the next time... tight lines... doug...

Welcome trancer ... use Nokia Maps or Google Maps on your cell phone if you need something to get a decent idea of the land.
