Hello Everyone..

I am Toji Mampilly from Cochin.. I am an Engineer and planning to study MBA .. From a young age i was interested in angling. When i was 7 years old i had made up my mind to catch one of the 6 gaint Gourami fishes[5 kg each ] which grew in the backyard pond.. With crude stick, thin fishing line and small hook i would sit by the pond and wait for the fish to take the bait.. and one day one of them took the bait. I saw a big splash and the next second it pulled me so hard that i fell in the water.. from that day on i was hooked on to angling..

I registerd in the forum a long time ago and read all the posts.. learning and understanding new things from each and every experiences shared here... thanks everyone for every information you have shared here..
these information and suggestions helped me in landing my first big fish [ threadfin ] last week.. I will upload picture in the respective forum soon..

thank you so much.. yes i completely agree... i was really shocked to see its size as i reeled it in... 9 lbs and change.. can never forget that sight..
