Hi Yasir,

Welcome to the forum. Regarding the mahseer near Delhi, you will have to pm mahseerken, Asif, Dhruv, Samsondhi and a few more anglers from the north.

Cheers,
Apoo

hi
the first house in the goludhar belongs to my father ,to get big fishes from garur tal is not a easy job but small one are quite easy with the help of spinner and flys have you tried those not than september is the right time 4 to 5 fishes in one hr work is a good result fishes are mahaseer flys bring good result but increased water in the mansoon it is diffcult to cast if you use your kayak sure good result is it of army color i have seen few using it in lake in march not fishing but enjoying
good luck
yasir

Hi Yasir,

There were 30 pounders in the Yamuna in Delhi itslef. But their visas expired and so they left with the viceroy back in'47.

The nearest place to delhi where there were any fish till 5 years ago, has also unfotunately been wiped clean thanks to contract netting and pollution.

As far as you Nanital area lakes go, try the old Jubbalpore tricksusing channa and corn. Its worked for me, but requires a lot of time and energy. You'll only get tiddlers on lures here.

Furthermore, PLEASE PLEAE PLEASE remember to handle your fish in the proper manner and release them after a good photo. There are not enough mahseer left, and you are a very lcky guy to have them in your back yard!!!

Cheers,
IG
