Hi there all u anglers out there.
Im a guy who is crazy about fresh water fishing appart from being an aerobics and fitness instructor. and am realy keen on finding different ways of landing the rohu & mirgal fish. So far i've been successful with vinila & strawberry escence to catch the rohu but have not been very successful in getting very many mirgal's, though they seem to go for rotten stuff like rotten cocconut and blood worms etc, So if any of you guys have anything new let us have it.

Hi Robert,

Good to see there's another Bosen who's joined us. We will need your help in cracking the puzzle when it comes to the carp in the WASI lake. Looking forward to hearing from you in the future.

Mighty Marlin.

Hey Robs, welcome to the forum ... At last, someone from my part of India.. :P

Mrigals are difficult to catch. They like bait that is smelly and oily. You can mix a bit of your groundbait wt the bread paste and try.. It usually works here..

Hows the fishing there in Jam'pur ?? Any good places wt big catlas..
Am a fanatic angler for catla/mrigal and rohu.

Hey Gavin,
You also have Geoff Bonjour on the forum (sleeper cell) 8) from Jamshedpur. Quietly watching all the fun.
I happen to know that the boys are doing an all night stint tonight at the lakes.
Yes they have 4 or 5 lakes that they haunt, and a deep one called Hudco lake that they pull out loads of Rohu /Mirgal / Catla from.
Will get Robby to explain his moss fishing technique as soon as he recovers.
Regards
Owen
