welcome to IA mate. Try to go to "Larji" the river there is really good for trout fishing they have a regular HP fisheries office there you would get all the required permits too. I caught my first one a big brown there just to give you an idea posting the pics
By rajatmukherjesince it was my first fish ever i was overboard with joy you can make out in the pic also caught some small but decent size rainbow trouts too Image

Hi eljefe,

You can get shimano from a number of shops. Tan Thong Chong is one of the authorised dealers in St. Georges Ave. Most shops are good, and as you know the majority are in Beach Road. Still one of the cheapest places for fishing tackle.

Thanks for the name- Tan Thong Chong in St George's Ave. I think thats the showroom? the work shop is diagonally opposite near maude road? been to so many shops in a day, I kind of lost my bearings :)

Welcome Aw!

Rajat Da,

The fish in your first pic is a local fish called a snow trout, its techinically a carp, not a trout.
