Summer holidays, took off to Bhopal from Hyd, carried my tackle, which I usually does, one fine morning took off to kOLAR dam located approx 60 kms from City. The water levels were very low, the day temperatures were hovering around 44 C, landed this Murrel [ SAMAL as they call it in Bhopal] the most interesting part was casting was possible only from around 200 ft inside the reservoir as the levels were quite shallow around the shores. [ Advised not to venture without a life jacket,if faced with a similar situation] Could fish barely upto 12 noon, the whether caught on with us & we rushed back to base, but with some success.....

Congrats on the murrel.
44 Celsius and a thick life jacket around you!!! I can understand why you did not want to stick around!!!

Many thnaks Guys, TKV unfortunately I don't have any other snap.
Ravinp...Its true but when you are into waist high water you don't exactly feel the heat, at the same time you feel secure under its weight.
