The Masab Tank Gang is at it again....Compliments for a great catch, two big size Murrals in a day is certainly a stuff folk lores are made of, let me also add that besides these two slender beauties also caught were eight Pattans { weighing 24 kgs approx}, the entire catch was spaced in about 4.5 hrs of serious fishing, proud to submit, that also a part of the MASAB TANK GANG was yours truly.

Thanks Hozefa & Ali bhai,

The fist one was caught at 12pm and the second was caught at 3pm. Both were landed on 12 lb line on Shimano exage & Abu reels.

These two murrals were caught on Spoon i mentioned in my previous posts.

Yessssss

This is the same spoon (Brand: Globe ) guage 14 and you can use a tea spoon/baby spoon, well both of these murrals were caught on baby spoon.

Cut the handle and bore a hole with 1mm drill and to the other end get it pressed and a drill it so that you can add a spring washer along with a swivel.

the hook used is a size 1 triple make VMC - made in france.

We get big wallagos on this hence we sometimes use bigger hooks.

swivel along with a split right, this can be bought from a automobile shop, just ask for a spring washer of 1/4 (1 quater size ) and you're done.

Cheers

So ask wifey to hand over the discarded cutlury and here you go,,,the spoon work wonders, its a rage in this part of the world locally known as "chamcha", believe it or not it has out performed Mepps/RAPALAS/Yo-Zuri & u name it....works best in contained waters of depths varying from 6 ft-20 ft.

Nice catch.

Please post new catches in one of your older threads instead of starting a new thread every time. Thanks.

Your new post has been merged here with the older one.

Hi Salim,

Congrats, that is a very fine fish. What I always like about all your post is the weight of the fish. In the last pic that murrel looks huge & can be easily believed to be 5 Kg +. Also the 8 Kg. Mulllley in you other post, and I would personally believe if someone say that it was 12-14 Kg.

Congrats once again.

Santosh
