Great going! Must have been a great moment when you first saw the big fellow.

We are slowly getting to the magic 9 kg mark!

Mr. Junaid,
Very nice fish. Maybe one day, with your advice and help in finding some new waters even I can catch something like this. Maybe I'm using the wrong equipment. Do you think I should get a Shakespeare reel and an Ugly Stik? And of course Trilene.
Respectfully,
Mysticmaral

Mr.Junaid,
I don't understand...I should buy an Ugly Stik or not? What about reels? Will this guarantee that I can catch a fish like yours?
Thanks,
Mysticmaral

Aha, takes a marral to get a marral!
Senor MM, have edited the reply a bit...
I guess a Lefty Kreh 2 pc 6 ft travel rod from TFO, from your side of the world, would be bang for the buck!
Until I get mine, the 7 ft ugly stik with Pflueger reel and Stren 8 lb will have to do its usual , efficient, job-until mr. marral goes into weeds and spits out my scum frog :(
Hows the Boddington?
best
Axx
