Hi Jeen

Is that Armand. Saw him at Ras Madrakh on saturday the 27th. In fact we were a big group out there with a lot of wind in the wrong direction. Fly Fishing was very difficult. Armand was on his kayak and had some problems and could not steer back to the beach. Luckily another camper was able to go out with a small boat with an outboard motor and bring him back. He was after the permit but I doint think anyone saw one.

Am off to cochin tomorrow. Will take my travel fly rod and see if any opportunities.

Regards Carlton

Hi MM,

Armand is very much around and doing what he does best . We were on my boat alast Friday.
Will convey your regards to him
And Cornell, he told me abt the kayak episode hilarious!! Nick of Ocean Active was also with him saw some pictures of insane breams and blue fish on lures spinning from the rocks!!

This is probably my third attempt at posting.
Bops if you happen to see this post, I am a bit flabbergasted. For one you need to log on with your password for each thread?? And then if you want to post something then you need to make 10 attempts before the stuff gets posted . Really puts you off, I must declare! After every attempt you get a window asking you for your password!!

Jeen, some nice fish there!

Regarding the login issue, I and most other members don't have this problem so I can;t figure out what exactly is causing this. It is certainly not part of the IA settings. Once you log in to IA you will stay logged in as long as you are active on the site. Most complaints are from overseas members which leads me to believe that it could be a service provider issue.

Please do the following and let me know if you still have the issue.

1. In internet explorer go to Tools-->Internet Options-->Delete temporary files-->then restart IE and try to login to IA again.
2. Check to see whether you have a anti-virus program or firewall on your PC which could be terminating secure sessions.
3. Try using another browser like Mozilla to see if this will solve the problem.
4. Try using another PC to rule out any issues with the current one.

Bops

Ok. After browsing around, I have found the reason for this issue. Please have a look at the link below.

http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... &t=1167075

It's a UAE specific issue and is due to the fact that the UAE and some other countries use a proxy for all internet access. I'm afraid I can't really do much about it.

Have you guys tried using the keep me logged in option when logging in?

Bops

yeah Bops.....I use that option. I was sick & tired of being logged out every now & then. But now it seems to have stabilized in the past week.
