One of my favourite spots. An incoming channel of water with a bridge over the channel. Perfect cover for bait fish like juvinelle baracuda, snapper and trevally. Have a look at the toothy critter.......all caught on a self made clouser minnow

Hi Carlton,

Thanks for sharing.
This (flyfishing) is some thing I really wanted to do but haven't found the time or companion to start off.
I have never flyfished. But i understand it is one of the best forms of angling.

Ravi

Thank you for sharing some nice pics.
It's like telling me to get my arse back on some fly fishing :(

I used to love those small mouth bass that bent my fly rod :)

Again, nice pics there.

Cheers, Maruthu

Hi Ravi

Yes fly fishing is almost an addiction. You need to see someone doing it and then its quite easy. Am quite lucky to have had a friend (now in qatar) teach me all the basics....light line, light rod...you can have fun even on very small fish. Was in poona in October and spent some time introducing fly fishing to the Indian Anglers out there......

Hi Maruthu

Great to see you back after a long time. Had some issue with uploading stories as am fishing almost every weekend. Will def load some more pictures and stories.

Hey Carlton,

Ah, how I miss this old fishing spot. Kuwait has some nice spots that you would love to fish. Plan a trip in March or April. Now we are hit with regular sand storms lasting for days .... no fishing. :?
