DeZZ,
I dont mind sharing my know-how & equpt' of fly fishing with anyone intrested. 8) I believe everyone should share knowlege, it takes a lifetime to get there, but we do not have time to find out everything all by ourselves. So spread the word and get everyone in the light. I'm happy to share with you what little that I know. :-)

Been there done that, failed to catch - but since then, I've found a few marks where SWFF might be a viable option..
I'll report back to you next year.

Here are some of the flies that worked. I tied these myself. In the middle east we add a bit of red kiptail.

click on the image for a better look.
The first 2 are unused. 3 & 4 got a beating. 4 has a body of peacock feather.

Hey Adolph
I fly fish for trout in Himachal.. but am going to the andamans in dec to try some salt water for the first time..will be coming to goa on the 22nd dec and staying till 31st Jan.. at choraon and mabor so maybe we could meet and we could fish together...though i kinda agree with a previous post that I have found few people in goa that can actually provide proper guidance on rod and line ....
waiting for a response
christopher

Chris,
You are coming to Goa in the week/month that is the peak season and most of us will be really busy. PM me you contact details and we shall see if we can meet up. I would recommend that you hire out a local canoe/boat and fish along the coast close to the rocks. Look for an experienced boatman. A few things to remember:-
1) Fly fishing is not caught up yet in Goa as it is hard work (People prefer nets)
2) Most of the fish are caught by the trawlers so you will catch Zilch.
3) You may never see catch and release.
Have fun, have a drink.
Adolph.
