Yeah, very worrying Derek.
we get problems in the UK with American crayfish getting into the wild, they carry a disease that our native crays can't fight. As a consequence, our native stock are being decimated.
Also find terrapins and all sorts in the wild.
Luckily, if the Environment Agency find out about non-native fish, even if they have been stocked into a private water, they electrofish them out and destroy them.

Now, about those Tibetans releasing African catfish into the Kaveri...
