Good evening all tight liners

I have a 7mt long rod and some of the line guides are broken
Can I make my own guides from clothes hangars
Please help me out with this guys

Hi Sergio,

I would not recommend a local fix for surf rods as the load on the guides is pretty high when fighting a big fish. You can buy all types & sizes of guides from Online Tackle shops. Download the catalog , identify the type & size of guides required & order online. They generally cost below $10. Alternatively you can order a complete set- cheaper.

Next, for fitting the guides, take a look in "Youtube" & it is a simple fix. I have replaces four surf guides & they work perfectly.
