i got a telescopic Abu Garcia tracker 66 rod with a Jarvis Walker Volcane 450 Spin Reel with a line capacity of 8lb/260yd. I fish in the sea... Planning to change the line to a more stronger one... Please suggest |

20lb monofilament would be the max suggested on a telescopic rod. |

Bopanna is right, you can also use some 30lb or 40lb braid to increase the line quantity. |

thanks guys for the feedback.. experimented with a 0.40 mm monofilament line... Casting was affected.. didn't go the distance. I switched back to the old line then. |
