Hi all,

Please advice if anyone has used Dyneema braided line, it is different from a normal braided line as the strength to diameter ratio is huge.

Also please advice how is the performance of ID4 braided line as this braid has a center core monofilment in it.

Cheers,

Chris

Hi
To be very honest I have never heard of this brand of braid. Who is the manufacturer? What are the rated breaking strenghts?
Regards

"Dyneema" or "Spectra" are just brand names for the gell spun polyethelene material that's braded or fused to make non stretch lines.
The different braiding processes can give differing characteristics (4 or 8 strands etc) so rather than looking for "Dyneema" or "Spectra", it's better to look at the properties of individual brands.
