I have never fished with any artifical lures & was trying to get my hands on some,Last month when my friend had gone to UK had askd her to get me some lures

She had bought some spinners & lures
when askd she she bought those.....She simply said b.coz it was COLORFUL :?

Could anyone let me kw what these lures are and which fish can be caught on these

Whose your friend, who bought you the lures. She sure is cool. I could definately ask her to buy some `LURES` for me. You could use the top one and bottom one for for murrel, and, the others of carp or mahaseer.

hi,
the second one from the top looks like a variant of the silver toby... a very very effective sppon up north, especially for the yellow fin! Tons of mahseer, but never caught anything else on it!

That's it!. Medium Toby, the chosen one at Bhakra for a long time. But now the fish are very spoon shy. But on a good day you still can't do without one there.

Dude! If she's buying stuff form England then the both of you are getting mugged. Paying for tackle in pounds is criminal. They just change the sign on the price label, 5 dollars becomes 5 quid... sometimes even more.

Moral of the story. Don't catch and release this friend. Keep her, for ever.
