just don't buy the chinese stuff. it is crap that does not las very long. The plugs don't have wire through them. the hooks rust. in short if you can get branded stuff (daiwa, abu, etc) cheap then it is worth it otherwise take cash, dollars preferably.

Aron,

I would get 2 pce rods only, the highest end chinese tackle.

Do not go for the reels, they suck.

As for lures, a lot of the Japanese lures do not have wire through now a days and I do not like this either. Since your Mom in in Shanghai you could gamble. Somethimes the balance is not quite correct. Only go in for Salt Water plugs.

Is she stopping over at Hong Kong? I could take her down to a tackle shop here.

Regards,

Bobby

Aaron,

don't jump the gun...

Rods ...the best are custom made by Owen in bangalore..

I have already placed order for a telescopic and two part heavy duty.

And regards reels ...

Fred and Owen have suggested Abus and Daiwa.

Very good bargains.. I going for this very soon...

Lets meet... maybe can combine and order.

Let Mummy have a good holiday...

Imagine her walking around the airports poking people in their behinds with your rods

Hi jude / Aaron

I got a lot of things from them. One more thing you can do is go to ebay.com. (the US site) and you might get some good bargains.

Cheers,
Apoo

Hi Saiki,

They accept any card with the mastercard and the Visa logo. My advice is that if you have several or more than one card, used the one with the less amount limit. That way you can play safe.

Cheers,
Apoo
