i have seen in this forum lots of people interested to catch mulley so reveling the small secret hope you will not return with empty hand.

first choose the bait it should be a small fish around 5 to 6 inch long not more than that and the fish must belongs to that lake or river where you are going to catch the mulley.

the texture of the fish is very important the fish which you are going to use as a bait it should have small size of scale or without scale,small amount of bone,contain fat and soft flesh.you can take advice from local fisherman or fish merket.
there is a fish called puti you can see the image in google it is a very good bait for mulley but it is a very small size fish so for a common people it is very hard to turn in to proper bait.why? that you will understand on next.
anyway take the fish cut off the head then turn it on abdominal side make a cut like surgeon with half blade because using hole blade can make problem to surgery.you will understand when you practically use it.
so make a deep cut form neck to tail clear all the abdominal portion then very genteelly by using your index finger tip and thumb tip pull out the total spinal cord,be careful the flesh should be intact.you will get a flat piece of soft flesh.also pull out the rib bones one by one that's why i told to choose a fish with a small amount of bones.just make ti bone less.
eliminate all the fins then make a cut just over the spinal cord to tail and you will get a strap like two piece bait if the fish is a 5 to 6 inch long.
go to any homeopathy shop ask a liquid medicine called assafoteda(Q)half ounce it cost is around just RS.20.

just put one drop on flesh of every bait piece and rub it genteelly.put in a glass jar make it air tight and keep it in shade for one hour. do not refrigerate and your bait is ready.
tie the bait on the hook flesh should be outside on a zigzag way it should be like a ball and it will depend on your expertise.
to give a extra kick your game take the head piece, spinal cord ,abdominal portion, make ti to small pieces and through it it to river or pond where you are going to catch the mulley.
please try this method at least three days.
please note that for a big mulley try at night after 8PM
winter is the best time to catch mulley so ROCK ON.

Hey tutan...thanks for the elaboration..I have used ur technique and it works beautifully..except i find it hard to use Puti fish in this technique..it gets ripped apart. we use a fish called 'boriola' here in Assam..works wonders

yes my friend we use to call it boroli and it is very good bait for mulley.
