Anglers, I am newbie in this forum and fishing. I want to catch in a big pond in our locality (Kharagpur..West bengal). But totally failed to catch a big one for my stupid knowledge. So anglers please, please help me to know about baits and ground baits for rohu and catla specially.

Please anglers dont advice me to search, I have searched a lot. Please post here the basic of fishinhg and help me become an angler.

As I am from bengal so bengali fishing tips are more usefull to me.

Please, please help me.

A very complicated ground bait, but still, it should work for you.

What about your rig. Please share that too.

Just, as a starting advice, the basic rule of bait fishing is that your hook bait should be much superior than your ground bait. Add a liitil sweetner to your hook bait like shuger. Last but not the least, the bait should be very very soft.

In case you really want to go after some big fishes, start using a bolt rig combined with a hair rig. You can always use a small spring insted of boilies and mould your hook bait around the spring.
