Hi Experts ,

I want to give Freshwater Fly fishing a trial ,
I have been doing research on the fly - equipments , includes everything (rod ,reel, line and flies). But getting confused with what to choose also budget is a constraint here. I went thru IA online shop as well.

Could you guys please suggest me the basic good fly rod .reel and line.
where exactly to buy them from . Also my budget is around 6K.
Is it possible get everything (rod, reel, line and flies) in this .

Thanks in advance

Hi,
Ther are some outfits available on cabelas under $100

You havent mentioned the species you are targeting, but if it is 1-4 lbs trout then wt5 is fine

Please add 45% shipping and duty to estimate your total cost.

Here is the link:

For Carp it should be wt8,

About 2 years back I also purchased wt8 setup for carp/Masheer/Snakehead, Also bought some carp flies. I did tried on few ponds where carp was in abundance but never was successful.
