although i know that there is no end to up grades i am willing to shell out only around 6 k to upgrade my tackle at the moment need ur inputs on the following
1 - rods
a) Shakespeare wildcat rs 1500
b) pioneer pinnacle 2 rs 2500
c) daiwa beef stick rs 1990
2 - reels
a) daiwa crossfire 4000 rs 2500
b) regal BRi 4000 rs 3500
c) penn silverado 6000 3400
what is the best combo which can double up as light salty tackle also?
this is not the end of the line but is as far as i am willing to go now.
line i intend to use is yo zuri hybrid 20 lbs.

c) daiwa beef stick rs 1990 - I would prefer this if it is a boat spinning rod. But the review says they are heavy when it comes to spinning, but for chucking biat it should be good.
2 - reels
a) daiwa crossfire 4000 rs 2500 - second preference
b) regal BRi 4000 rs 3500 - First preference, cause you get a spare spool and 33 lbs drag as compared to 13.2 of crossfire 4K. This combination will be a heavy setup and not ideal for spinning, it is not that I would not use it for spinning but it could be cumbersome for continuous casting.
