Friends

I live in US, shortly moving to India.

Can you advice if inline spinners work in Indian conditions? (lakes, ponds & rivers).

What Number and what type works in India.

I am not targetting any specific type of fish, should be able to use in general bank fishing.

I have a lot of Mepps spinners numbers from 00 (Ultralite) to 04 size meant for trout.

I am just wondering if it makes sense to carry them to India or dispose them off here if they wont work in India.

The mepps inline spinners and the like work great - upto No 5 in chrome, gold and copper.

Murrel will take spinnerbaits too but keep them on the smal side - very handy for fishing weed and timber as I'm sure you know.

While you can source them from here - you're better off getting them in from the US - will be much cheaper. Most of my kit is ordered in from the US.

Cheers,
Sudhir
