Hello anglers,
I have always fished in lakes and rivers but had recently gone to Cochin and tried out fishing at the back waters and managed to catch a 2kg milk fish which gave me a pretty good fight. The bait was wheat flour as I was fishing at a resort and the fish there are used to this diet.I want to know what would be the Ideat bait for back water fishing as I am now staying very close to Calicut and can explore backwaters here.I will be posting the pictures of my milk fish catch very soon.

Guys I have no Idea for salt water fishing baits so please help me out.I also want to know if spinners used for murrel(snakehead) work for any fish in the salt ?

Bread seems to work reall well on Milkfish. You need to chum the area with bread crumbs first and get the fish feeding and draw them closer. Fly tackle with a normal hook baited with bread will be awsome. You could do the same with regular spinning tackle as well.
