Was in Las Vegas last week and visited the Bass Pro Shop there, I thought i was in Heaven, u cant imagine how much time i spent here at Bass Pro and what you are seeing is only a part of the store there was a separate section altogether for hunting and a clothing department also.

BassPro shops are big and are actally prettly good too with what they have.
But I would suggest anyone to go to local tackle shops that are more specific.

Did you say you were you in BassPro shops when in Vegas

I think I miscommunicated. I was talking in general about B&Ts.
Basspro is a great place for everything. I only surf fish, so bait and tackle shops are much more convinient.

The friendly LOL in the end was for visiting tackle stores when in Vegas

BTW, cool pictures.
I would like to take a trip to one of the Basspro near me, but the nearest one is about 100 miles from here.

Cheers,
Maruthu

I know it did sound funny going to a tackle store in vegas, even my wife was pissed of as she thought we were on a holiday, but in Las Vegas everything is Big and the Nevada-Bass Pro is one their biggest shops and no fisherman in the US misses it when he goes there so how could a guy from Mumbai, where there is no such thing as a professional tackle shop, also the day I went there King Abdullah of Jordan was shopping there, was not allowed to take any pics but he bought very less fishing tackle and tons of camping and hunting gear.

Bass pro's are all great. Cabela's stores are even better.
They were designed with teh aim of making anglers go broke.
