This evening the children were gifted a 7' telescopic spinning rod, a spinning reel and a 1/4lb of spool by the grandmother of one of their friends. Pleasantly surprised to find that all of the above is practically new and unused.

Anyway, to come to the point, the rod has the following printed on it.

Shakespeare
Carbon Composite Telescopic
1145-210
Length: 2.10 M / 6 SEC
Action: B-10/20

What do 6 SEC and B-10/20 mean?

Thanks.

Rustam

P.S.: I opened the reel to remove the old grease and relube it and couldn't find any ball bearings. Is this normal?

Rustam,

I suppose that would mean a 6 section telescopic, B action - a medium action curve and a cast weight of 10 - 20 gms??? :?:
